Stormwind generally refers to the Kingdom of Stormwind and specifically to its capital city. Stormwind reigns over the lower half of the Southern continent of the Eastern Kingdoms, known as Azeroth, hence it was once called the Kingdom of Azeroth. Stormwind was the first force to meet the Orcish Horde’s first invasion of the planet.
