Expansion: The Burning Crusade (2007, AKA TBC) is World of Warcraft’s first expansion. It mostly takes place in Outland, the orcish homeworld of Draenor after it had been shattered. The expansion introduced flying mounts and two new playable races. The expansion’s final bosses include Kael’thas Sunstrider, Illian Stormrage and Legion leader Kil’jaeden.
Ongoing Event: The Burning Crusade is the grand quest that the fallen titan Sargeras (a main Warcraft villain) has taken upon himself to purge worlds, using his Burning Legion.
