Race: Trolls are one of the oldest sentient races native to Azeroth. They have historically lived in tribes and adopted superstitious beliefs, but are strong, ferocious fighters with incredible stamina and regenerative abilities, including that of severed limbs.
Playable Race: Trolls of the Darkspear tribe are one of the playable Horde races. Thrall encountered them during the orcs’ exodus from Lordaeron’s prison camps to the shores of Kalimdor around the Third War (20 after the Dark Portal), and they soon became one of the three original factions of the Horde (alongside the orcs and tauren). Their leader, Sen’jin, died during the exodus and was succeeded by Vol’jin.
