Demons, born in the Twisting Nether, are races of evil, savage and fundamentally fel-corrupted (fel is the magic of chaos) creatures that seek to destroy mortal worlds for the sheer satisfaction of their hunger. The souls of slain demons will find their way back into the Nether where they’d re-incarnate. The only way to permanently kill a demon is to kill it in the Nether.
