Sylvanas Windrunner (AKA Dark Lady or Banshee Queen) was queen of the Forsaken (the undead of Lordaeron who defected from the Lich King’s Scourge) and the Horde Warchief to succeeded Vol’jin. She used to be a Ranger-General in Quel’Thalas (high elven kingdom) before the Third War, when Arthas killed and resurrected her as a banshee.
