Warcraft: Orcs and Humans (1994) is the real time strategy game that spawned the Warcraft franchise. It takes place on Azeroth (Southern half of Eastern Kingdoms) and features the orcish invasion of Stormwind in the First War. The Warcraft universe was expanded a year later with the release of Warcraft II, in which the Stormwind survivors sail north to the continent of Lordaeron, where both the humans and orcs bring in new allies to constitute the first Alliance and Horde.
