Expansion: Warlords of Draenor (2014, AKA WoD or “Warlords”) is the fifth expansion of World of Warcraft. It follows the time travel of Garrosh Hellscream back into Draenor’s past, creating an alternate reality where the orcs were never enslaved by the Burning Legion, but rose up to become the independent, war-thirsty Iron Horde instead. Draenor had only been thinly depicted in Warcraft 2: Beyond the Dark Portal (1996) before being lost until WoD came out. The final boss is Legion general Archimonde.
